Publisher: A. & C. Black, September 1931, first british edition. Good plus condition. Bound in blue cloth which is faded to the spine, and dmap-mottled, especially on the back board. Inside, however, it remains a very beautiful book. There are some occasional light marks, and the back endpapers have a little marking from the damp which affects the back board, but the text block and illustrations remain otherwise celan and bright. The illustrations are in colour and black and white, and are some of the most gorgeous fairy illustrations ever produced. Enchanting. This is a very large book, 33cm, 13 inches, tall, 128 pages.
